Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Rob’s wedding. The Ceremony took place at the lovely church of St Mary Magdalene and St Denys in Midhurst and then it was a very short trip down Midhurst High Street to The Walled Garden on the Cowdray Estate.
The ceremony was beautiful and conducted by the wonderful vicar Peter and Emily’s stepmother Deborah which added an extra special touch. On arriving at The Walled Garden we had some time to go into the ruins for some dramatic portraits of Emily and Rob. The Walled Garden is a stunning location particularly at this time of year when it is filled with colour and the scent of lavender.
The speeches at the reception were excellent and Rob’s moving tribute to Emily had everyone in tears, me included! Finally the band Azure played the first dance “It’s All About You” and then I left everyone to enjoy the evening. Rob and Emily are off on their honeymoon to Antigua and I look forward to catching up with them when they get home.

This weekend I was working with Barrie photographing the wedding of Rose and Henry in the lovely town of Ascona on the edge of Lake Maggiore in Switzerland. The ceremony took place in the Chiesa di San Petro which was decorated with lots of white flowers and candles, it looked beautiful. After the ceremony, Rose and Henry rode back to the reception venue Eden Roc on a carriage pulled by two enormous black horses! A drinks reception on the Hotel’s jetty, a four course meal, an enormous fireworks display, a live band and a first dance under the stars completed their amazing day. It was a pleasure to share it with them both.

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Andrea and Dan in St Paul’s Cathedral followed by a reception at Corney and Barrow in Paternoster Square just a short walk from St Paul’s. I was joined by another photographer, David Pearce from Kent and as Andrea and Dan gave us 30 minutes after the meal we were able to take them away for some stunning portraits!
